Physiological process being investigated
- Diffusion;
Explanation
- Iodine molecules diffuse; into the visking tubing as they are smaller in size; therefore blueblack colour.
- Brown (Iodine colour) in the solution persisted because no starch could move out of the visking tubing as they are large in size;
