An organ system is a group of organs specialized to perform a specific function.
Examples of animal organ systems include:
- Circulatory system
- Digestive system
- Excretory system
- Reproductive system
- Nervous system
- Respiratory system
Digestive system for instance is made up of the following organs: tongue, stomach, intestines, liver and pancreas.
