Hypothalamus
The hypothalamus is a small region between the cerebrum and the cerebellum part of the brain.
It contains thermoreceptors which detect changes in the temperature of the blood passing through it.
Thermoreceptors in the skin also relay impulses to the hypothalamus through sensory nerves.
The hypothalamus also controls osmoregulation and blood sugar level.
