About Lesson

Role of Adrenaline in Homeostasis

Occasionally when in danger or excitement an impulse is sent from the brain to the adrenal glands which produces the hormone adrenaline.

Adrenaline enhances the conversion of glycogen into glucose in the liver to be oxidized to yield more energy to fight back or escape.
