Population
Population is a group of organisms belonging to the same species in a particular habitat e.g. a population of buffaloes in Nakuru National Park.
Characteristics of populations
- Density – refers to the number of individuals per unit area.
- Dispersion – it is the spread or distribution of organisms in a habitat.
- Population – refers to the rate of increase in numbers.

- Predators
