Bones and muscles work together to bring support and movement.
The skeleton system in mammals is divided into two parts; axial and appendicular skeleton.

The Axial Skeleton
Consists of the:
- skull
- sternum
- ribcage
- vertebral column
The Appendicular Skeleton
Consists of the:
- pelvic girdle
- pectoral girdles
- limbs (fore and hind limbs)
