Sense Organs

Sensory cells become associated to form specialized sense organs with accessory structures.

Sense organs in mammals are;

  • Eye for sight
  • Ear for hearing
  • Tongue for taste
  • Nose for smell
  • Skin for pressure, temperature and pain.
